Unlike most people on Spring Break, mine was pretty laid back. I didn't go on any vacations, nor really go out at all, but some things did happen so I thought I should re-cap (:
My Spring Break was mostly spent sleeping... and yet, I still didn't catch up on my sleep :[ I was very lazy most of it, probably because school just made me so exhausted!! However, it was really boring. So my plan for next year's Spring Break is to actually plan a nice vacation, maybe to the beach or something, just so I can relax and enjoy myself (: -makes a mental note-
My biggest highlight of my Spring Break was definitely getting my hair cut!! (: It was very exciting! I felt like I was starting over new, with a whole new look. I got it colored to a darkish brown, very pretty <3 And I attempt to get bangs, though they didn't turn out that well... still, it looks very nice! I felt so fresh afterward :D I get excited over small things, and a new haircut was just what I needed to up my mood! This is why being a girl so is fun ;)
Momma ended up getting surgery on her leg. I forgot what for... but she had some weird structure stuff on her knee bone, so they had to cut it off a bit and lower it down. Apparently it takes from either 6 months to a year to heal up :/ Which sucks. She says her leg that she got the surgery on tends to hurt a lot, it's really swollen. And she can't even bend down or sit on her knees at all because it hurts so bad. So I hope it heals up soon! :( I know she will want to plant flowers at some point in April or May, and she can't do that if she can't get on her knees. But me and Amanda can surely help her out (:
We also got to visit Cave of the Winds for the first time! It was for extra credit in my history class (very cool extra credit assignment if you ask me!!) Momma couldn't go because it was right after her knee surgery, so it was just me, Amanda, Tato, and Josh! Surprising, right? Josh actually left the house harharhar Either way, the experience was a ton of fun! :D We got a group photo at the beginning, that we ended up buying for $10 at the end to keep as a souvenir! Me and Amanda made awesome poses in it ;) I learned a lot about the history behind the cave, if was very informative! As well as fun, because going inside a cave is very neat :] At the end of the tour, our tour guide told us about another tour called the Lantern Tour, which is only on Sundays at night time. In which they turn off all the lights in the cave, so it's pitch black, and they walk around with candles in buckets basically, and use that as a light source. He gave us a demonstration, and it was SO creepy @_@ I am afraid of the dark... a lot, and we couldn't see anything at all, but this little candle light. Being in a very old creepy cave in complete darkness, is way creepy. I had to hold Amanda's hand LOL But eventually, I want to go back on a Sunday night and try that out (: One day!
That was pretty much all I did my whole break. Not very exciting, right? :( Next year will be better, but I didn't mind it! I don't need to do super awesome things to be happy and enjoy myself. I had a good time (:
